Is there an overview of the RAM requirements for the long vs. regular WU types under Linux / Windows? Is it correct that the Linux client does not require Virtualbox? Michael. President of Rechenkraft.net - Germany's first and largest distributed computing organization. |

Linux client does not require Virtualbox. For RAM requirements : long 1800 MB free and regular 1800 MB free. But we use a fraction of that. |

Well, so far I never saw more than 250 MB of RAM used on Linux systems - regardless of the task type (long/regular). Michael. President of Rechenkraft.net - Germany's first and largest distributed computing organization. |
