I can no longer install Virtualbox every time I try it breaks off with this file missing:

VirtualBox-6.0.14-r133895-MultiArch_amd64.msi

I should give the path but this file was deleted even if this was not wanted!

when I try to install VirtualBox-6.0.14-r133895 it says the file of the product it downloaded was corrupted.

I cannot find a file on the network either and I no longer have it on the computer

can no longer count on projects where virtalbox is required :-(

Can someone help me?

ich soll den Pfad angeben doch diese datei wurde gelöscht auch wenn dies nicht gewollt war!!

wenn ich versuche VirtualBox-6.0.14-r133895 zu installieren sagt er die datei des Produktes sei beschädigt hatte sie heruntergeladen.

ich kann auch im netz keine Datei finden und ich habe diese nicht mehr am rechner

kann bei den projekten nun nicht mehr mit rechnen wo virtalbox verlangt wird :-(

Maybe try to uninstall completely VirtualBox with Revo Uninstaller.
Try to install a virtualbox previous version like 5.2.32 to see if the problem is still present.
It seems that Microsoft is working on a fix for this type of issue :

Maybe better is to wait for the fix.

It seems that the file you don't find on the net is created by the command line :
VirtualBox-6.0.14-133895-Win.exe --extract -path C:\VBox
from the initial file VirtualBox-6.0.14-133895-Win.exe , you can download in oracle site.
The resulting extracted file is located in C:\VBox.

So can you reinstall virtualbox another time with this process and then uninstall it cleanly ?
Or is it this procedure that doesn't work properly ?

Before writing the command line , you have to be in the right directory.

So open windows explorer , press "shift" and right click on the folder c:\download , select in the menu "open windows powershell here" , and copy the right path which is appearing. like (C:\Users\.............\Downloads)

then open now a powershell windows as administrator (right click on the button start) and type the command : cd "the path pasted before"

the prompt should become : C:\Users\.....\Downloads>

if you type the command : ls ,

the name of the file downloaded should appear in the list displayed.

then type your command : VirtualBox-6.0.14-133895-Win.exe --extract -path C:\VBox

so i made it so the file is in vbox folder

C: \ Vbox \ VirtualBox-6.0.14-r133895-MultiArch_amd64.msi

if I enter that there is a message saying that deit is damaged contact support

obwohl die vbox.exe orginal ohne veränderung heruntergeladen wurde

So , it means that the initial file "VirtualBox-6.0.14-133895-Win.exe" has an error inside it.
I don't see the practical solution.The weakness seems to be present only in this version of virtualbox.
A user said in an another forum , that the only solution he found is to reset windows , then he has been able to install virtualbox.But it's the last solution to do if no other solution is found.

It took a long time but I would say after restarting the computer and trying again the installation was successful.

es hat sehr lange gedauert möchte aber sagen nach einem neustart des Rechners und einen weiteren Versuch ist die Installation gelungen.
