I started a VB and loaded Ubuntu so I could run the BOINCStats Challenge on a Windows machine. I cannot get any tasks as the project thinks I do not have enough memory. I get the error "QuChemPedIA@home: Notice from server
NWChem needs 1954.72MB more disk space. You currently have 2141.31 MB available and it needs 4096.03 MB."

I have 8 cores and 13.1 Gig of memory allocated to the VB and in BOINC I have the preferences to use 100% of memory.

dingo@dingo7:~$ free -m

I was on the wrong track. It is disk space it is complaining about.

I increased the VM disk size to 17 gig but still get the same message.

I detached and re-attached a couple of times. No Biggy I will just not use the VM, I have a bunch of Linux machines running anyway I was just going to try and add a couple of Windoz ones.

BOINC has a known bug (or feature, if you prefer).
You need to set the "Use at most ... GB disk space" to a large value, such as the total of your drive.
And set "Use at most ... % of total disk space" to 100%.
