I have two work units that have completed processing but will not upload. dsgdb9nsd_nwchem,bath01,000035412,nwchem,1570144058 dsgdb9nsd_nwchem,bath01,000141272,nwchem,1570144020 I cannot begin new ones while these are still running. What should we do when this happens, these two have each been aborted twice before. |

Try to stop network traffic in boinc (activity menu) and then restart it, try to hold / unhold individual task upload (transfer tab), try to close boinc / launch it again... ? |

Try to stop network traffic in boinc (activity menu) and then restart it, try to hold / unhold individual task upload (transfer tab), try to close boinc / launch it again... ? Thank you, the problem I see is that the completed WUs don't make into the upload tab, they sit there showing that they are running even though Boinc says they are complete. There is no upload to retry. But you gave me an idea... The Windows Task Manager shows I am using 1/3 of my CPUs and ~1/2 of my memory, exactly how it looks when a task is processing normally. Looking through my valid results, I see that tasks on my machine tend to run about 12 hours each. The tasks I wrote of earlier had been running about 7 hours when I wrote the previous post. I have 3 more in the same situation now but I will give them at least another 6 hours, probably more, just to be certain this isn't just an estimated time issue. |
