I recommend changing your domain to the short & memorable QChem@home. |

Dear Aurum, Thanks for your proposition. However, in computational chemistry Chem is already taken by a computational software (that we do not use). To avoid misunderstanding we have added the u. And since the encyclopedia objective, the open database is really important for us, we really want to keep the pedia. Cordially, Thomas |

I see 91 NWChem Longs running but I didn't catch any. Hopefully soon. I see you haven't earned your beta badge yet either. Running the Longs should do the trick. |

I hand-assigned this badge at the very beginning of the project. I don't have a script to assign it automatically. It is not my priority, but I'll keep that in mind. |

I've been thinking about it after all. I selected the users who participated in the tests of the application (NWChem long) and the chaotic versions of NWchem (normal queue) and add the beta badge. select distinct result.userid, user.name from result,user where (app_version_num=16 or app_version_num=15 or app_version_num=14 or app_version_num=12 or appid=3) and result.userid=user.id; +--------+------------------------------+ | userid | name | +--------+------------------------------+ | 250 | -jb- | | 292 | 10esseetony | | 214 | ac | | 298 | Aurum | | 293 | axels | | 410 | bartekp | | 288 | biodoc | | 109 | Coleslaw | | 290 | crashtech | | 333 | csbyseti | | 320 | cudatail12 | | 2 | damotbe | | 342 | dhh | | 81 | Dirk Broer | | 253 | fuzzydice555 | | 5 | fzs600 | | 305 | H01 | | 54 | Jerzy_Przytocki | | 31 | Jim1348 | | 80 | joe carnivore | | 101 | JZD | | 208 | Kodeks IT | | 131 | ladmo | | 73 | matsu_pl | | 4 | modesti | | 30 | PDW | | 187 | pelpolaris | | 215 | Ralfy | | 61 | rbpeake | | 162 | respawner | | 111 | RFGuy_KCCO | | 275 | Roadranner | | 316 | ServicEnginIC | | 76 | Soulfly | | 184 | Steve Dodd | | 87 | STE\/E | | 340 | stoneageman | | 295 | Timothy Dickey | | 354 | Trotador | | 116 | vaughan | | 302 | Zalster | | 18 | [AF>Le_Pommier] Jerome_C2005 | | 9 | [AF>Libristes] erik | | 3 | [AF] fansyl | +--------+------------------------------+ 44 rows in set (42.25 sec) insert ignore into badge_user (user_id, badge_id, create_time, reassign_time) select distinct result.userid,8,UNIX_TIMESTAMP(),UNIX_TIMESTAMP() from result where (app_version_num=16 or app_version_num=15 or app_version_num=14 or app_version_num=12 or appid=3) ; Query OK, 38 rows affected, 6 warnings (48.46 sec) Records: 44 Duplicates: 6 Warnings: 6 |

I update again the beta badge... 15min for one SQL query ! insert ignore into badge_user (user_id, badge_id, create_time, reassign_time) select distinct result.userid,8,UNIX_TIMESTAMP(),UNIX_TIMESTAMP() from result where (app_version_num=16 or app_version_num=15 or app_version_num=14 or app_version_num=12 or appid=3) ; Query OK, 16 rows affected, 47 warnings (15 min 31.08 sec) Records: 63 Duplicates: 47 Warnings: 47 |

The badges displayed on a user's home page, statistics and this forum are currently shown out of order when you get a 10M or 20M badge. In my experience badges are displayed on these pages according to their order in the badge table so if you have time, perhaps a spare 15 minutes, you could change the order please ? |

I am beginner in QuChem! But i Saw that something was wrong until yet: It is necessary to run with only 50% of the threads this means only wuith the number of heart of the computer It is necessary to have 2gb/Heart inside of the computer at minima.Twin is better What you win: Less strom used, 3x more result in shorter time, computer is regulary working (you hear it at the fan) Benefique pour tous |

I replace benefique pour tous I am agree with "benefique pour tous" work only with 50% of processors regular fan speed, increased computing quality because computing time shorter and grouped less consum of strom Uc power 82% a lot of computer have à computing time over 20000 sec for thasks computed but with the 50% method in 3000 to 7000 sec mid (i did not calculate the correct mid computing time value) it is estimated |

on sample from the 40 last result i have a mid computing time value of 4690,905 second and a type distance of 1710,9652372332 second the safety of the mesure is 40/100=0.4% with computing only with hearth |

The 144 valid result gived as mid computing time value 4929,7461267606 second. The type time distance of 1932,3122569712 second Inside of this interval minimal:2997,4338697894 second and maximal 6862,0583837317 you find 68% of the computing time data and this for computing only with hearth and not processor or 50% of the processor 2 processors= one hearth If you look the computing time from the server you see for short run around 4 hours this means that a lot of people are processing with full processors and this give not the same result (Answer) I understand at this way easy the disparity of the computing time in some tasks especially in the not conclusive results |
