Some projects are more efficient crunching under Linux. For example, it is well known that anything Vina based can be up to 50% faster under Linux. There are a few projects that are Linux only right now. Here, the Linux native application seems to run a lot better than the Virtualbox application and needs fewer resources. Script, that creates VM with boinc, with boinc manager access, with accoint key given at the command line. No additional software, virtualbox headless mode. It may be interesting.
