VirtualBox not installed

I'd like to ask that after the project will be public, will there be a possibility to run the project without virtualbox? I run Boinc on my everyday pc, and although I know virtualbox, and used it a few years ago, I do not want the hassle to use another layer. The other projects I participate (Rosetta, WCG, GPUGrid) have the option to just use them without a vbox. Thank you for your answer, in advance.
