When looking at the logs (stderr) of this valid task packet, I was wondering why there is such a vast difference in the content of these logs? The first one is even truncated! https://quchempedia.univ-angers.fr/athome/result.php?resultid=1847499 vs. https://quchempedia.univ-angers.fr/athome/result.php?resultid=2237387 Moreover, this massivley more powerful desktop Linux machine took significantly longer than my Windows laptop to complete the task. Why is this? Michael. President of Rechenkraft.net - Germany's first and largest distributed computing organization. |

I think the web interface truncates logs that are too long. the difference in computing time may be due to occupancy and hyper-threading. calculations are memory intensive and you need to be able to correctly feed a 32 threads monster. |

My core question was why are the logs so far from being virtually identical given that these machines processed the same task? Michael. President of Rechenkraft.net - Germany's first and largest distributed computing organization. |

Due to the vbox_wrapper, the real log cannot be written at the right place and the wrapper write his own log. |
