Most of my returned WUs lately have gone into pending. Out of idle curiosity I looked to see who my wing crunchers were and I see some confusing info. The other crunchers have computer numbers such as 2329, 2333, 2328, 2236, 2334. All are anonymously owned and all have aborted the WUs I successfully completed. These WUs otherwise remain unsent to a third cruncher, effectively leaving my completed units in limbo. The server status page shows there are only 1592 computers even attached to the project. My question is: Do these other computers actually exist? My computer is not hidden, please take a look and see if I am missing something obvious. |

Computer id : 2328 seems still active. Computer id : 2329 seems still active. Computer id : 2333 seems still active. Computer id : 2334 seems still active. Computer id : 2336 seems still active. But the fact that these computers are still active will not provide you a grant for your work. I think Damotbe should select all the wus which have been finished by only one cruncher and send these wus to another wingman. To deep learn correctly , the IA needs right datas. The fact , a wu which is only terminated by only one cruncher doesn't mean that these wu is wrong (molecule has a chance to be stable). To reward correctly , the admin should grant the cruncher which has terminated his wu when the quorum is not reached and the wu is not checked by another person , because of the admin's decision to not do a retry. It's just an opinion... |

I have 5 work units pending since at least the 13th of May, all had a wingman who aborted their work units (host 2132) and they have not been resent out yet. The hosts are real otherwise they can't abort work units but it is taking awhile to get the work out to a new host. I can wait. Conan |

I have WU since end op april, cancelled by wingman and still not resent. But Strange, the new received WU are very "young". It seems, that the old are not more resent ! |

I left the default behavior. I don't quite understand the current logic, but I can't change it efficiently. |

No Worries, we will get a wingman when we get a wingman. WU's are not going to be purged, so we wait for Boinc to be "logical" and resend the work units. Seems they are placed at the back of the queue. Conan |

I can only presume that in the infant stages, getting the data is more important, than to get the data validated. Like damotbe wrote, they have an ai system that scans for the results, so they can determine if a result is erroneous or not, by a certain percentage range. Once the project gains more computational resources, they can be assigned to verifying or duplicating WUs. |
