Posted 20 Dec 2020 by damienh Post: I am also seeing a lot of errors, although will point out that I'm running Linux Mint VMs and they have had not had recent kernel or boinc upgrades. They have run a lot of QuChem in the past with no issues. |

Posted 23 Sep 2020 by damienh Post: Hi damotbe, It looks like QuChemPedIA has been selected for the Formula Boinc sprint: http://formula-boinc.org/sprint.py?sprint=17&lang=&year=2020. Just giving you warning that you will see extreme load as the teams try to grab / crunch / upload tasks. PM me if I can help in any way. All the best & good luck! |

(Message 869)
Posted 10 Jun 2020 by damienh Post: damotbe's PM also said much the same as Luigi mentioned. It is expected that the aborted units will be re-sent at the end of this batch. As such, I'd hope that you will receive credit for them at some point in the future ... |

Please Don't Abort WUs
(Message 864)
Posted 10 Jun 2020 by damienh Post: Hmmmm. Usually it's good practice to abort tasks when moving between projects, so that the project knows that the task will not be completed and can re-allocate it. QuChem is the only project I know whtat doesn't appear to support this. I'll PM damotbe about it. |

Posted 8 Jun 2020 by damienh Post: My record is a currently-running WU that is registering 13d 16h run time so far. Based on damotbe's feedback, this is probably very unusual but also not unexpected ... ? |
